The soreness is starting to go away thank goodness. The run felt really easy tonight and my heart rate and pace came back down to where it was before the race. This was good to see because it means that I have recovered pretty quickly from a fairly hard effort.
I am going to start incorporating some push ups and and into my workout. Tonight I did 45 push ups and 140 crunches. I always lack patience when it comes to this stuff. I'm going to try to start small and work my way into it. Always remember, something is better than nothing.
