Twice in Two Days

Well once again I hopped on the treadmill thanks to this wonderful Kansas weather. My shin actually didn't bother me at all and my legs are feeling great. Heart rate was under 160bpm the entire time. I can't stress enough how important using a heart rate monitor is for building an aerobic base. I have 20 miles in the first 3 days of the week so getting at least 35 shouldn't be a problem. At some point I will probably start using an elliptical to increase my mileage without putting the additional pounding on my legs.
